Effets de l'apport de phytoplancton (Skeletonema costatum) sur la croissance et les variations de la composition biochimique de la palourde japonaise Ruditapes philippinarum cultivée en marais ArchiMer

A bulk production of phytoplankton (Skelelonema costatum) has been obtained in concrete tanks from saline groundwater. This was used in various concentrations to feed an intensive cultivation of the Manila clam (Ruditapes philippinarum) in ponds. No difference was observed in growth rates of molluscs, with food concentrations between 31 to 126 µg/l Chl a. However, the growth rates obtained from March to November with a food supplement were 1.5 times higher than those observed in the traditional, extensive cultivation. The biomass doubled and the increase in flesh dry weight was 2.5 times higher. The condition index reached a value of 100 in the intensive cultivation. Etude préliminaire de l'impact des huîtres Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg) en élevage sur la biomasse des microorganismes des claires de Marennes-Oléron ArchiMer

The evolution of microbial biomass based on chlorophyll a, pheopigments, proteins, particulate carbon and nitrogen, ATP and total viable aerobic bacterias measurements, is studied on three oyster ponds in relation with different densities of reared oysters Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg). Chlorophyll a important amounts characteristics of theses middles (13 to 100µg.1(1) are in part consumed when the density of oysters is important, comparatively ATP increase to 30µg.1(1). With important values of (ATP/carbon) 10(3) ratios, upper than 10, we could think that the development of large silicified phytoplanktonic species should be favoured by oysters particularly the diatom Navicula ostrearia (Bory)

Micro-algues des claires ostréicoles de Charente Maritime : focus sur les producteurs potentiels de toxines DSP, PSP et ASP et toxines émergentes (palytoxines, pinnatoxine...) ArchiMer

Les inspections vétérinaires de la Commission Européenne ayant signifié à la France son constat d'une absence de réserau de surveillance sur les claires ostréicoles, la DGAL a mandaté l'Ifremer afin de réaliser un premier diagnostic sur le phytoplancton. Cette commande de la DGAL place l'Ifremer LERBO comme prestataire de service et spécialiste des micro-algues. Les claires ostréicoles étant hors du domaine public maritime, une concertation avec le Comité Régional de la Conchyliculture de Poitou-Charentes, la DGAL et la DDTM 17 en juin 2018 a permis de proposer six claires, réparties entre l'île de Ré et l'île d'Oléron et pouvant être échantillonnées. L'objectif est de faire un état des lieux de la présence ou de l'absence de cellules de phytoplancton...
